Summer 2025

This year, we will continue our partnership with Mount Olivet Preschool and Church as we host seven weeks of fun-filled camp. STEAMTree camps will provide your campers with thoughtful activities as they delve into weekly camp themes. Campers will explore their creativity through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

We  strive to create programming that fits your campers learning and social development needs while providing a joyful summer environment.

We will offer our traditional Curious Tots camp for campers ages 3-5. This camp is available from 8:45 -1:15 pm

Campers ages 3-5 may be ready for a full day of fun. If so, check out our Extended Explorers. Our explorers will participate in the same Curious Tots themes and continue their day with STEAMTREE into the afternoon and remain with us from 1:15- 3:15 PM.

With decades of accumulated Early Childhood  experience, our youngest campers will be in the nurturing hands of many Mount Olivet Preschool educators!

Our elementary age campers can join our Inquisitive Big Kids program. This STEAMtree camp takes the excitement to the next level. With more complex projects, interactive challenges, and a deeper dive into each STEAM discipline, your children will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, foster critical thinking skills, and engage in collaborative learning experiences. IBK campers enjoy the camp day from 8:45- 3:15 PM

All of our camp programs  share similar captivating themes throughout the summer, ensuring a delightful and educational adventure for every age group. Whether your child is just starting their STEAM journey or ready to dive deeper, our camps provide the perfect blend of fun and learning for every young explorer.

   Fruitopia    

(Week 1: June 16- 20)

Curious Tots/ Extended Explorers

Dive right into our week all about fruits. Campers will investigate various colorful fruits. We’ll take a look at how fruits give our bodies the energy we need and explore creative cooking lessons! Campers will love our  yummy recipes, and creative projects. We'll learn about colors, shapes, and how fruits grow, all while having a fruity blast!

Up, Up, and Away!

(Week 2: June  23-27)

Curious Tots/ Extended Explorers

How do we get from point A to point B? There are many ways to travel, you see. We will investigate the world's fastest planes and see what it takes to get aviationary vehicles in the sky. Campers will dive into the cockpit and explore the differences in jets, planes, airships, and helicopters.  Take a journey into aviation with STEAMtree!

Aviation Adventures

(Week 2: June 23-27)

Inquisitive Big Kids

Come aboard,  pilots as we explore aircrafts in the sky! Throughout the week, campers will delve into  flight planning, aviation history, aircraft design, and all things air travel.  Our inquisitive big kids will spend time looking at  flight simulations, the impact of weather and launch rockets high into the skies! Join us for a week of high-flying fun!

Pirates Ahoy!

(Week 3: June 30- July 4)

Arrrgh Matey! A preschool pirate theme is a great way to explore the ocean and island. From using treasure maps to finding  gold, campers will learn to  navigate the treacherous seas these curious tots will having much fun learning about pirates, shipwrecks, and how to use a navigation compass. So ahoy mate!


STAR WARS Academy

(Week 3: June 30- July 4)

Inquisitive Big Kids

May the 4th be with you! Our young Jedi Masters will explore the science, technology, engineering, art, and math behind the Star Wars universe.Campers will design their own droid, create intergalactic landscapes. They will discover  new life forms  and unidentified flying objects. They may even master new Jedi mind tricks. Come join us as we navigate the world of Stars Wars.

Carnival

( Week: 4 July 7-11)

Curious Tots/Extended Explorers

Campers will dive into the wonders of carnival. Come join us as we play games such as bean bag toss, water balloon toss, hula hoops, and potato sack races. We will explore various carnival activities such as drawing, creating, decoration, temporary tattoos, and musical chairs. Come join us for a carnival fun week of playing a game and winning a prize.

Amusement Parks 

(Week 4: July 7-11)

Inquisitive Big Kids

Our inquisitive big kids will explore the world of amusement parks by creating their own theme park. Campers will learn different aspects of design and navigate loops, structure inclines and turns on rides. They will engineer their own miniature roller coaster and create their own themed attractions. Campers will learn about the physics of their different thrilling coasters. Campers will put their ingenuity to test  as they bring their wildest park ideas to life!

Fossil Finders

(Week 5: July 14-18)

Curious Tots/ Extended Explorers

Unearth the fun in learning with Fossil finder week. Campers will embark on thrilling archeological digs, and exploring ancient plants and fossils. Each new discovery will turn into a learning moment. Campers will learn the history of extinct species and more. Our paleontologists will have the opportunity to make their own fossils, and dig for dinosaur fossils. Come join us as we explore the ancient world!

Slime Time
(Week 5: July 14-18)

Inquisitive Big Kids

Go! Go Slime! Campers will enjoy a drip drop gooey fun-filled week!They  will explore the states of matter by creating and experimenting with various slimes. Campers will observe and describe the physical properties of slime and connect these properties to the three states of matter: solid, liquid and gas. We will explore with different materials to make slime. How awesome will it be to see what kind of slime creations our inquisitive minds can come up with.

Legopalloza

(Week 6: July 21-25)

Are you ready to think like scientists? Legopalloza is a great way for students to explore the imagination of building models. This week campers will focus on building simple structures, and making lego models. Children will investigate different engineering lego structures while having hands-on exploration. Are you ready to get creative and use your imagination to build, draw, and create lego structures?

Glow On!

(Week 6: July 21-25)

Inquisitive Big Kids

Illuminate your imagination! Campers will explore various ways to bring light into darkness. Using their creativity, campers  discover bioluminescent animals. They will design their own Glow in the Dark bowling game,and create secret messages. Campers will love making neon light boxes and exploring fluorescence and blacklight magic. Campers will GLOW WILd all week long!

Camping Crew

(Week 7:  July 28- August 1)

Saddle up for a rootin' tootin' adventure at our 'Wild West Scientist' camp! Young pioneers will explore the marvels of science in the spirit of of the Wild West. Campers will explore the gold rush and various advances that helped with the western expansion. From the Oregon trail to Pony Express-join us for a week of frontier fun!

Pirate Plunder

(Week 7: July 28-Aug 1)

Arr Matey! Our campers will learn about famous pirates, their adventures and what life may be like sailing the seven seas!  Campers will learn about knot tying, the science behind using compasses and  design their very own pirate ships!  Hop aboard as we follow our own treasure maps and discover  some of the world's most precious jewels. Your pirates will sea-riously love the week. Ahoy mate!
